How to Add a Sales Return / Credit Note #
To manage and track sales returns in Lutrack Inventory, follow these steps:
- Go to Sales
- Click on Sales Return / Cr. Note.
- Click on the Add New Sales Return button.
- Fill in the Sales Return Details:
- Invoice Number: Enter the invoice number, or leave it blank to generate automatically.
- Customer: Select the customer from the dropdown list or add a new customer by clicking the + button.
- Return Date: Select the date of the return.
- Product: Use the search bar to find and select the products being returned by name, item code, or barcode. Enter the quantity for each product.
- Terms & Conditions: Review or modify the default terms and conditions.
- Notes: Add any additional notes for the sales return.
- Order Status: Select the status of the return order from the dropdown menu.
- Order Tax: Select the applicable tax for the order.
- Discount: Enter any discount amount.
- Shipping: Enter the shipping cost.
- Click the Save button to finalize and save the sales return.
Sales Return Overview #
- Sales Return Overview Panel:
- Invoice Number: Displays the unique invoice number for each sales return.
- Return Date: Shows the date the return was made.
- Customer: Indicates the name of the customer associated with the return.
- Return Status: Displays the current status of the return (e.g., Received, Pending).
- Total Amount: Shows the total amount for each return.
- Paid Amount: Indicates the amount that has been paid.
- Due Amount: Shows any remaining amount due.
- Payment Status: Displays the payment status (e.g., Paid, Unpaid).
- Actions for Each Sales Return:
- Click on the three vertical dots under the Action column to perform various actions on a sales return:
- View: View detailed information about the sales return.
- Edit: Edit the details of the sales return.
- View Payments: See the payment history for the sales return.
- Download Invoice: Download a PDF copy of the invoice.
- Print Invoice: Print the invoice directly.
